Joe's Slushie Peach Mint Julep

Fresh peaches, a bit of mint and Frey Ranch straight bourbon whiskey are all you need to create this super-summery drink.

This recipe makes 2 cocktails


  • Four ounces of Frey Ranch Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

  • Fresh peach slices.

  • Two ounces of peach simple syrup.

  • One ounce of mint simple syrup.

  • A small bunch of fresh mint.

  • Crushed or shaved ice.


Combine the bourbon and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker over ice.

Shake well, for about 30 seconds.

Spoon into the bottom of a small cocktail glass a few slices of the peaches that were stewed in the simple syrup. Then add a small sprig of fresh mint on top of that.

Add shaved ice, overfilling the glass with a mound if possible. (You can also crush ice in a blender for this step).

Slowly and carefully pour the contents of the shaker through a strainer over the ice into your serving glasses.

Garnish with a sprig of mint and a fresh peach wedge. Enjoy!
